Christian has known he had a passion for food since he was a teenager, working at his family’s Cary restaurant, and has been creating delicious dishes ever since. A near-native of the Triangle, Steve has an impressive 20-year track record within the dining and hospitality industries in the area.

Mauricio Basurco, Assistant General Manager of the Mayton Inn, Restaurant Manager

Mauricio joined the team and brings decades of hospitality experience.  Working under Danny Meyer, of Gramercy Tavern and Loews Hotels, he managed restaurants and built hotels, gaining tremendous experience in every aspect of hospitality.

Colin and Deanna Crossman, Owners

Colin and Deanna met at Duke University with Science and Law intentions. Now, after working on historic houses, a large B&B renovation in Durham, and the Mayton Inn construction in Cary, they are becoming true historic hospitality experts.

The Verandah at the Mayton Inn is an extension their community-driven mindset and they have a team poised to offer the best southern casual environment within their modern, boutique hotel.
